North Tyneside Council propose pulling down the Boardwalk Cafe

and putting a temporary wooden kiosk at the bottom of this road ….and nice ornamental steps…have they ever considered big waves? Here is what it looked like an HOUR after High Tide.. you can see by the water on the road how high the waves came…and on the plans we saw at the public consultaion, no barrier or sea wall???? I wonder if the architect had ever been down there when the seas are high?
