Whitley Bay The Demolition Summary How Are They Doing North Tyneside Council

http://ift.tt/10mbEtp Whitley Bay. North Tyneside Council ,How Is The Demolition of the eyesores going? The The Avenue Pub, The High Point Hotel, The Esplanade…. Ten weeks on,… and things appear to have ground to a halt… leaving a bigger eyesore than before… The Mayor for North Tyneside announced at the Council meeting she wanted to Demolish the Boardwalk Cafe in the beach… So lets see how the other demolitions are going on . Lets us see how the vision for the coastline included re development of the foreshore with ‘Vigorous Consultation’… but no consultation re the Boardwalk Cafe, is going on North Tyneside Council has decided , without it appears local consultation to demolish in November 2014 the famous Boardwalk Cafe. Whtley Bay has had a cafe on Watts Slope in Whitley Bay for the past 149 years with unrivalled views of the famous Whitley Bay Beaches. North Tyneside Council who have spent millions over the last 20 year with the promise of finally refurbishing the famous Spanish City building, claims that the Boardwalk cafe is to be demolished to improve the view. What an insult, the view from this famous cafe in Whitley Bay is arguably one if the finest views on the North East Coast, of St Mary’s Lighthouse and wonderful beaches.

Instead of North Tyneside Council wasting even more money on the crumbling Spanish CIty, what finer inspirational building could you have for an artists colony? A Yoga Retreat? A Yoga and Health Food Centre.

Use your imagination North Tyneside Council, STOP DESTROYING OUR HERITAGE… SAVE THE BOARDWALK CAFÉ
