Salsa Yarm – Teesside Salsa Classes and Events

http://www.salsayarm.com/index.php Salsa Yarm the local venue for Teesside Salsa. Salsa Yarm monthly dance nights are 1st Saturday each month at Fellowship Hall, West St Yarm TS15 9BU. The night starts with a line dance to warm up, followed by 45min lesson by a guest teacher. Dancing to Latin music until midnight.

The classes are every Wednesday at Fellowship Hall 7.30-10pm. Beginners 7.30

ABOUT CHRIS & SUE

Chris & Sue have been teaching salsa in the Teesside area since 2005. They have also developed a reputation for their monthly dance nights, which draw people from all over the Northern region, and feature guest teachers from around the country.

At the York Twelfth Night event in 2010, Chris & Sue were joint recipients of the award for Outstanding services to Regional Salsa.

At Teesside Latin Dance Festival III in April 2011 they received the Festival Achievement award.

Chris & Sue teach from beginners up to intermediate level, and they specialise in building confidence so that people feel at ease on the dance floor.

St Marys Lighthouse two hours before high tide. A sunny but chilly winters day, and while I was videoing the beautiful cloud formation framing St Marys Island, a scene unfolded of the joy of a family. A scene enjoyed the world over, of a couple enjoying the scenery and playing with thier young poddler.

To the north of the famous ruins of Tynemouth Priory, a sun trap of Priors haven offers peace and solitude . Enjoy this little video clip.
